About this course
Digital Electronics — GATE CS / IT
4 chapters and 116 content pieces covering the Digital Logic syllabus for GATE CS. Topics include number systems (binary, octal, hexadecimal), Boolean algebra and K-map minimisation, combinational circuits (multiplexers, demultiplexers, encoders, decoders, adders), flip-flops (SR, JK, D, T), counters and registers, and basic sequential circuit design.
Digital Logic is the smallest GATE CS subject by weightage (~6%) but the easiest to score full marks on — questions are formulaic once you've practiced K-map minimisation and flip-flop excitation tables. Every concept here is paired with a worked PYQ. Designed to be completable in 2-3 weeks of focused study.
