About this course
Computer Organization — GATE CS / IT
20 chapters and 165 content pieces covering the full GATE Computer Organization & Architecture syllabus. Topics span number representation, fixed and floating-point arithmetic, ALU design, control unit (hardwired and microprogrammed), instruction pipelining and hazards, cache memory hierarchy, virtual memory, I/O subsystems and interfacing.
CO is heavy on numericals — speed-up calculations, cache hit ratios, pipelining throughput, address translation. Every concept here is paired with at least three solved numerical problems plus the GATE PYQ compilation. You'll come out comfortable with the calculation patterns examiners reuse year after year.
